The season is about to start and one the things we are looking forward to is.... the food!!
So we thought we would write a couple of recommendations of our favourite places to stop and eat. Why not add to the list and comment below with your favourites eateries.
Hawaii restaurant. This is our favourite place to eat in Sunny Beach. It is located right on the beach and has stunning views out to sea from the wooden veranda.
The restaurant has a number of different cuisines on its menu. Mexican, Indian, Bulgarian and English to name a few. Highly recommend the beer-battered fish and chips. Living permanently in Bulgaria it gives us an authentic taste of home during the summer months. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff are always greeting you with a smile.
D Jannys. Just up from the top of flower street. We have eaten here on a number of occasions. The restaurant is decorated to a very high standard. One of the busiest places in Sunny Beach to eat. The food is fantastic. Does a great English breakfast for those missing a fry up first thing in the morning.
Aquamarin In Nessebar. As you enter the old fort entrance by the bus stop, the Aqua Marine is located about 300 meters on the left-hand side. You take a step back in time walking through the entrance. You enter via a traditional Bulgarian house. As you walk towards the rear they have 2 seating areas. One completely enclosed in case it rains and the other is under a veranda with grapevines. It has beautiful views across the bay to Sunny Beach and St Vlas. On our trips to Nessebar, this is a must for us for dinner. The menu is reasonably priced and the seafood salad is amazing.
Clio’s ice cream bar Nessebar. As you enter the old fort from the bus stop you will see a bronze map on the right-hand side. Just to the right of that is a little walkway. Head down the steps and you will find Clio’s ice cream bar. This is our favourite place to get homemade ice cream sundaes and ice cream cakes. It’s a beautiful place to sit after walking around Nessebar and cool down with a sundae. Prices are extremely cheap for what you get. Can’t beat the Montenegro ice cream. A must for chocolate lovers amongst you
